To Whom It May Concern:
It is my pleasure to recommend Carol Odiorne for a position of software engineer, project management, or any other business opening in which you may have a need for her. I have worked with Carol since 1992, and had the pleasure of being her immediate supervisor at Active Network from 2005 – 2013. We first met when we were both employed by Verifone, Inc. in 1992. Together, we helped make Verifone the industry leader in credit card transaction processing. When Verifone was purchased by Hewlett Packard in 1998, and the office was moved out of state, Carol resigned to pursue a career as an Independent Software Consultant to Value Added Resellers of Verifone products.
Carol worked with me as an Independent Consultant on projects from 1998 to 2005 involving MS Access Visual Basic Database management, as well as Verifone terminal projects. It was her proposal, design, and implementation of a Generic Hunt and Fish terminal application that propelled Automated Licensing Systems, of Nashville Tennessee to hire her, myself, and another associate in 2005 to complete their Government Licensing software development department. Later, ALS was acquired by Active Network, because of its dominance in that industry.
Obviously, Carol is focused on solving clients’ problems through the development of creative and innovative software. She is a skillful communicator both verbally and in written form, and works extremely well with clients. She is self-motivated and can be counted on to meet production deadlines, provide exceptional support, and work well with the team. I hope you will consider Carol Odiorne for your opening. I am confident that she can meet any challenge you place before her, and I believe you would be exceedingly pleased with her work should you choose to hire her. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or want to discuss Carol’s qualifications further. I can be reached at email: ?@? or by phone at ???-????.
